Hand-built in my Asheville studio from high-fired stoneware, the Venus Mug draws on thousands of years of honoring the feminine form. The sculpted curves are intentional, a quiet nod to prehistoric goddess traditions and our deep human connection with the earth. Earthy, feminine, and made to be held.
This Venus Mug holds 12 oz and is finished in a natural glaze that develops its own character in the kiln. No two are exactly alike.
Every piece is one of a kind. Due to the handmade nature of this work, the mug pictured may vary from the one you receive. Slight variations in form and glaze color are part of what makes each piece unique.
